Set your BIOS auto power feature to on. Your server must power on when power is connected without us having to press a switch.
Set the stop-on-error level to Ignore all Errors. This is because your server will not be connected with a keyboard or monitor unless we or you have to look at it.
Blank off extra ethernet ports that you will not be using. This helps us not place the ethernet cable in the wrong port and render your connection useless. You can block off a port using tape and some paper over the port hole.
Make sure your OS boots before sending it to us. Also make sure that we don't have to press anything to get into the operating system such as servers with two operating systems. If you do have two operating systems then set it so that the default OS will load after a few seconds of no input from the user.
Send us all your parts including the server, rails, power lead, cat5 cable, and chassis keys if you want it locked.
Make sure that you configure your NIC card to the correct IP address we give you. Your server should work as soon as we plug it up.
